There is a place for you on the Flash
Athletes, coaches, event-day helpers, unified partners, and supporters all make the season happen. Just fill out a form and we’ll reach out.
Become an athlete
Start here
This is our year-round athlete interest form (not a sport registration). Tell us who you are and what sounds fun, we will reach out with next steps.
How to get started
- Complete the interest form.
- Register for your sport. Keep an eye on our calendar and emails, we will send out registrations as they open up each season.
- Complete your required medical and release forms before the season starts. Medical forms are valid for three years and must be on file to participate.
- See you at practice. Come ready to learn, compete, and have fun!
Become a sponsor
Back the Flash
The Medina Flash is a nonprofit program powered by the generosity of our community. Every donation helps provide year-round sports training and competition at no cost to athletes while funding equipment, uniforms, facilities, travel, and other essential program needs.
- Financial sponsorship — uniforms, equipment, facility rentals, transportation, competitions, and athlete experiences
- In-kind support — equipment, meals, printing, facilities, volunteer services, and other resources that strengthen our program
Our sponsors are recognized on our website, at events, and throughout our community communications.

Help the Flash shine
Coaches and event-day helpers are the heart of the program. Start here and we will guide you through orientation and the background check.
- Coach a sport alongside our team.
- Help on event day with setup, timing, and cheering.
- Share a skill like photography or fundraising.
Coaching this year? Review the coach certification requirements from Special Olympics Ohio for the trainings you need — the background check and general orientation are linked under Program forms above.
